She's OUT

Patty was released from the hospital yesterday!!! She will be staying with Omie and Opie for a little while so she won't be running back and forth on HWY 90. She is in good spirits and in wonderful hands...when I left her she was sitting at the table eating a coconut pie!! Hopefully she will be able to get on the blog and start posting! THANKS to all of you for all of your prayers! We must realize that the surgery is one battle in this war...so we are asking you to please stay constant with your prayers for her and her family as well as for her medical team!!!

God Bless!!

  2. That is great news! The hospital is hard on everyone, but especially the patient with the constant in and out of nurses, never leaving you alone long enough to get any decent rest. You will get stronger and stronger now that you are in your own environment. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers!!

    Love,

    Jill and family

  4. I am so glad to hear you are out of the hospital and at your mom's so you can rest. We will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers to see you through this bump in the road, in this journey we call life. You have touched so many people throughout your career as a teacher, now it is our turn to finally be able to help touch and support you!

  5. You are a champion! Your faith, your perseverence, and your life are a testimony to all! I know that the enemy picked the wrong person to mess with, first of all because you have the creator of all and healer of all on your side, and secondly because you are just down right amazing! "The crap" is definately going to be kicked out of this whole situation, and through it all the beauty of Jesus is going to shine through as he gets all the glory!

don't lose heart! don't give up! we are behind you in prayer and love!
Romans 8:35, 37-39 (NLT) - "Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, OVERWHELMING VICTORY IS OURS THROUGH CHRIST, who loved us. And i am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."

    We love you!
p.s. just realized as I was typing all of this that you were the one that taught me how to type! Thanks to your teaching I am able to love people through typing! Wow!
